I recently needed to go to the Southwest Airlines Derby Office with some flight inquiries, and I have to say that I was impressed overall. To begin with, the office was accessible—conveniently placed with good parking right outside. As someone who's frequently busy, I like an easy entry. Inside, the staff was friendly and informative. I asked a couple of questions regarding my flight soon to come, and the representative who assisted me was very careful in explaining my choices. She ensured that I knew all the information regarding baggage policies, possible delays, and even upgraded seating. The most impressive aspect, though, was the speed of service. I didn't wait at all long, which is unusual when you're working with any airline customer service. The entire process, from entering the store to exiting, took 20 minutes or less. I also appreciated that the Derby office had a tiny waiting room with comfortable chairs, so if there was a queue, I could have sat and relaxed rather than standing. The office had a professional but relaxed atmosphere, which put me at ease.
